When I first became a consumer of recorded music, most of my friends purchased 45s. I typically opted for LPs, which were not only a better bargain (more music for the money), but also they also had a lot of great songs you’d never hear on the radio. By the time I could drive a car, 8-Track tapes had come and gone, and I went straight to cassettes for the mobile music experience. Then came CDs, which blew cassettes out of the water, audio-wise. Now one can hardly find a CD player, and the industry settled on MP3s. MP3s are incredibly convenient, and they have come a long way in quality since their introduction. (They sounded like crap to begin with.) But I do miss the whole “album experience” that came with LPs and CDs.
Today – we stream music. And like I mentioned in my previous blog, I’ve been busy getting a bunch of my website music uploaded to the various streaming services (via CD Baby), so that it can be streamed (or purchased if you like). Well, it seems that process is now complete. All seven of the projects are up and available at the major services. And what a crazy variety of music it is. Everything from country to the classics.
Soon we’ll have a page up here on the website for these projects, but I thought I’d start now letting folks know they’re available. Below are the project titles, along with the briefest of descriptions, and links to their URLs on the Big Three streaming services. If you subscribe to any of the services, I hope you’ll build a playlist from these projects and wear them out!
We’re the Same
This project is not quite so “crazy” as its predecessor. (That’d be “Sounds Crazy” from 2019) This time I’ve drawn on the talents of some wonderful singers to carry the lead on a few songs that were beyond my limited vocal abilities. Thanks to each of them for their talent and their heart.

December Through My Window
Christmas has passed us by, but winter is still upon us. This is a “wintry mix” of choral music (and a radical shift of gears from “Dinosaur”), that features music of hope and change – much the way winter makes us long for spring.

Dinosaur
A collection of old-school songs that range from funk to country to soul, and feature some wonderful singers (not just me this time). These aren’t scared songs, but they’re an awful lot of fun.
